Jeffery L. "Jeff" Lindell Sr., of Byesville, died Wednesday (June 4, 2008) at his home. He was born on January 25, 1961 in Guernsey County, son of Chester A. "Chet" Lindell and the late Grace (Baird) Lindell. Mr. Lindell worked in general maintenance at the Riverfront Antique Mall in New Philadelphia. He enjoyed coon hunting, camping and playing poker. He loved all types of sports. Mr. Lindell was a 1980 graduate of Cambridge High School. He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace (Baird) Lindell; his sister, Connie; and his nephew, Jason, all on October 9, 1980. He leaves his wife, Lula "Lu" (Hinkle) Lindell of the home, whom he married on June 3, 1989; his father, Chester A. "Chet" Lindell of Kimbolton; a son, Jeffrey Lee Lindell Jr. of the home; three daughters, Jeanette Marie Lindell of the home, Ira Isabelle Lindell of the home and Elisha Lindell of Cambridge; a step-son, Adam Edward Wayne of Mississippi; a step-daughter, Ann Marie (& Jason) Ferguson of Warsaw; two brothers, Tom (& Kathy) Lindell of Newcomerstown and Scott (& Betty) Lindell of Lore City; a sister, Norma (& Jeff Funk) Shugart of Old Washington; four step-grandchildren, J.J., Ashley, Angela and Mason; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Saturday (June 7, 2008) at 11 a.m. with Nelson Miller officiating. Burial will be at Flat Ridge Cemetery, Monroe Township.
