Jeffrey M. Betts

Jeffrey M. Betts, 55, of Quaker City, died Sunday (February 3, 2013) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born May 22, 1957 in Colorado Springs CO, son of Cecil C. Betts and the late Frances (Supplee) Betts. Mr. Betts was a Christian by faith and enjoyed all church activities. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Ezra and Irene Betts. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Cecil and Lila (Way) Betts of Quaker City; a brother, Timothy D. Betts, Ph.D. of Ft. Myers FL; a sister, Jean (& Clarke) Phillips of Greenville SC; two step-sisters, Vicki (& Bob) Kruse of Pennsylvania and Beverly (& Bob) Payne of Florida; a niece, Eva Phillips; and a nephew, Paul Phillips. Family and friends may call on Friday (February 8, 2013) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Cecil Betts officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
