Jesse M. Sorrell

Jesse M. Sorrell, 62, of New Concord, died Sunday (July 7, 2013) at his home. He was born November 18, 1950 in Alexandria VA, son of the late Jesse James Sorrell and Mollie Emily Mae (Hill) Sorrell. Mr. Sorrell was a self-employed mechanic and the owner/operator of his own trucking business. He enjoyed playing guitar and also creating oil & acrylic paintings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Sorrell; and a brother-in-law, Donnie Soots. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Miller) Sorrell, whom he married December 29, 1989; a son, Jason Sorrell of Frazeysburg; and two sisters, Mary Sorrell of Arizona and Christine Soots of Whiteville NC. Family and friends may call on Saturday (July 13, 2013) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
