Jessie Eileen (Goodhart) Riley

Jessie Eileen (Goodhart) Riley, 83, of Batesville, passed away Monday (September 25, 2006) at her home. She was born January 1, 1923 in Batesville, daughter of the late Briscoe Goodhart and Florence (Hyett) Goodhart. Mrs. Riley was a homemaker. She was a member of the Batesville United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul F. Riley, who passed away on July 19, 1997; a sister, Gertrude Morgan; and two brothers, Donald Goodhart and James Goodhart. She leaves a son, Paul Thomas (& Esther) Riley of Senecaville; two daughters, Kathleen Gallagher of Cambridge and Colleen (& Paul) Kasper of Sarahsville; two sisters-in-law, Jennie Goodhart and Dixie Goodhart both of Batesville; five grandchildren, Jamie Riley, Kelly Mack, Kristi Gallagher, Shannon Leasure and Kylee Kasper; a great-granddaughter, Kaia Mack; and many nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where services will be held on Thursday (September 28, 2006) at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Batesville Cemetery.
