Joan J. Mckim

Joan J. McKim, 68, of Cambridge, passed away Monday (July 5, 2021) at SEORMC.

She was born June 23, 1953 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Slasor) McKim.

Joan was a longtime employee of U.S. Bank as a Customer Service Representative.  She was an active member of NewPointe Community Church where she also volunteered as Café Lady and with meal train and several small groups. She was active in Calvary Baptist Women's Missionary Fellowship. She was also an officer of Wing 12 of Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Debbie McKim.

She is survived by one brother Kenneth McKim and one sister Robyn Rankin; nieces and nephews, Alec, Drake and Regan Rankin; cousins and special friends, Mary, Darla and Berti; three aunts, Barb McKim, Flossie Daniel and Marilyn McKim.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday with Pastor Evan Greathouse officiating.  Burial will follow in North Salem Cemetery.

Her family requests memorial donations be made to NewPointe Community Church, 429 S. 11 ^th St., Cambridge, Ohio  43725.
