Joann Lynn

Joann Lynn, 82, of Orange Park FL and formerly of Cambridge, died Wednesday (October 21, 2015) at Samson Villa Assisted Living, Orange Park FL. She was born April 26, 1933 in Fairview, daughter of the late Wilbur Gardiner and Freda (Luyster) Gardiner. Mrs. Lynn had worked as an assembler at NCR for many years. She was a member the First Coast Baptist Church of Jacksonville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lynn, who died November 27, 2003. They were married March 26, 1954. Also deceased are two brothers, Carl Gardiner and Harold "Bill" Gardiner; and a sister, May Davidson. She is survived by a son, Robert Eugene (& Rebecca) Lynn of Orange Park FL; three sisters, Ruth Sudduth of Barnesville, Mildred VanFossen of Richmond, and Margaret Paglialunga of Flushing; four grandchildren, Justin (& Barbie) Lynn, Jason Lynn, Jeremy (& Karissa) Lynn, and Julie (& Matt) MacNaughton; and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday (October 27, 2015) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Merritt officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
