Jocelyn A. "Jo" Williams-Pontius, 69, of Cambridge, died Saturday (November 28, 2020) at Southeastern Med.

She was born January 24, 1951 in Athens, daughter of the late John and Wilma Gooding.

Mrs. Williams-Pontius was a homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking, and playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, David Baldwin; and a sister, Barbara Spears.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Pontius; five sons, Kevin (Traci) Landaker, Keith (Tonya) Landaker, Jason Williams (Nikki Brown), Jerry Williams (Jessica Mallett), and Charles Williams (Malissa Gross) all of Cambridge; two daughters, Pegi Hood (John Hudson) of Cambridge and Alicia (Jason) Clift of Caldwell; a stepdaughter, Kathy McConnell of Cambridge; a stepson, Brad Pontius of Cambridge; twenty-four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Virgil Hood Sr.

Graveside services and burial will be held at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, on Thursday (December 3, 2020) at 1:30 p.m. with Chris Durban officiating.
