Joe S Wilkey Ii

Joe S Wilkey II, 74, of Cambridge, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at Ohio Health Southeastern Medical Center.

Joe was born May 15, 1950, in Columbus, a son of the late Joe S Wilkey I and Helen Colleen (Jones) Wilkey.

He retired from the US Army after serving 20 years and reaching the rank of E-7. He then worked for the Cambridge Developmental Center as a Therapeutic Program Worker. Joe started his club; the Old School Bikers and he enjoyed motorcycle riding and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Joe S Wilkey III; his brother, Brian Henry Wilkey; and a sister, Teresa Wilkey Allen.

He is survived by his wife, Carole Wilkey, whom he married March 13, 1971; his sisters, JoAnn (Harold) Dunlop of Jacksonville, NC and Carolyn Wilkey of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Antwan (Marguerite) Wilkey of Cambridge, Dorian Wilkey of Cambridge, and Keira (Clayton) Roose of New Lexington; his great- grandchild, Anderson Jolene Wilkey; soon-to-be great- grandchild, Atlas Joe Wilkey; daughter- in- law, Patricia Wilkey; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 14, 2025, from 10AM to 12PM at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge.
