John C. Adams

John C. Adams, 65, of Cambridge, died Friday (July 19, 2019) at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

He was born January 10, 1954 in Honolulu HI, son of the late Crayton H. Adams Sr. and Amelia (Perreira) Adams.

Mr. Adams was a US Coast Guard veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.

He was a trucking owner and operator for thirty-three years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Crayton Adams Jr. and Ray Adams; and a sister, Shirley Adams.

He is survived by two daughters, Rivkha (& Bosco) Garcia of Hyattsville MD and Agueda "Aggie" (& Walter) Strine of Cambridge; a brother, Mike Adams of Hickory NC; a sister, Caroline Adams of Hickory NC; six grandchildren, Rachael Miller, Thomas Brown, Amelia Barahona, Andrew Leitch, Keyla Garcia, and Kelly Garcia; and three great-grandchildren, Jordan Miller, Jeremiah Miller, and Aydyn Miller.

No calling hours will be observed.

Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday (August 5, 2019) at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, with military honors conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
