John Black

John Black, 61, of Lancaster and formerly of Cambridge, died Monday (June 17, 2013) at the Red Carpet Health Care Center, Cambridge. He was born August 7, 1951 in Cambridge, son of the late C. Russell Black and Anna Rose (Bond) Black. Mr. Black was a printer. He was a 1969 graduate of Cambridge High School. He was Christian by faith. He is survived by two daughters, Amy Black and Valerie Lowery both of Cambridge; a brother, David (Sandy) Black of Cambridge; a sister, Nancy (Bates) Daugherty Jr. of Glendale AZ; two granddaughters; and several nieces & nephews. No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time. As an expression of sympathy, the family requests that memorial contributions in John's name be made to the Faith Mission, 245 N Grant Avenue, Columbus OH 43215.
