John P. Engelhard

John P. Engelhard, 69, of Dover passed away Wednesday (April 1, 2020) at Mt. Carmel St. Anne's Hospital, Westerville.

He was born December 23, 1950 in Zanesville and was the son of the late Helmut P. and Helen J. (Wycoff) Engelhard.

Mr. Engelhard retired from United Dental Lab, Akron as a dental technician.  He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Dover, Dover Chamber of Commerce, and B and A Archery Club.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and carpentry.

He is survived by his wife Judy (Goddard) Engelhard; two daughters, Beth (Ross) Harkins and Kay Engelhard (Randy Wylie) both of Dublin; one sister Carolyn (Joe) Naylor of San Diego, CA; two grandchildren, Ethan and Gavin Harkins; several nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held.
