John D. Hickman Iii

John D. Hickman III, 36, of Cambridge, passed away Tuesday (August 2, 2016) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. He lost his courageous battle with cancer. John was a 1998 graduate of Buckeye Trail. He enjoyed time with family and friends. He was an avid Raiders fan and loved Mustangs. He was preceded in death by a son, Jordan Hickman; maternal grandparents, Harry and Marjorie Moseley; and paternal grandparent, Carolyn Keith. He is survived by his mother, Marjorie "Sis" (Moseley) McCauley (and Bob Buckius); his father, John Hickman Jr.; paternal grandparents, John (Sharon) Hickman of Lore City; three sons, Jace and Jack Hickman of Quaker City and Camden Hickman of Lore City; a sister, Shannon (James J.D.) Scharenberg of Byesville; siblings, Jessie, Angie, and Sarah Hickman; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; a special nephew, Dave Scharenberg of Byesville; and two special nieces, Kinsi Hickman and Samatha Scharenberg both of Byesville. No calling hours will be observed. A remembrance for John will take place at a later date.
