John C. Lewis

John C. Lewis, 74, of Cambridge, died Monday (April 24, 2017) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born February 24, 1943 in Cambridge, son of the late Gerald Lewis and Dorothy Bernice (Allen) Lewis. Mr. Lewis had worked for A.T.&T. for many years as a cable installer. He was Catholic by faith. Mr. Lewis was a 1960 graduate of Byesville High School and a former member of Cambridge Eagles Aerie # 386. He is survived by his brother, Gary Lewis of Bainbridge Island WA; three sisters, Connie (& Rich) Petitt of Estero FL, Barbara Ellen (& Todd) Foré of Mora MN, and Carol Susan (& Wayne) Carstens of Mitchell SD; and several nieces & nephews. Graveside services & burial will be held Thursday (April 27, 2017) at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
