John Wesley Marlatt Sr.

John Wesley Marlatt Sr., 79, died Tuesday (November 23, 2010) at his home. He was born January 29, 1931 in Cambridge, son of the late Harold Marlatt and Marian (McElroy) Marlatt. Mr. Marlatt was a general laborer. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, David Wayne Marlatt and Daniel Marlatt; and a brother, Robert Marlatt. He is survived by two sons, John Marlatt Jr. of Cambridge and Bruce Marlatt of South Carolina; two daughters, Debbie Marlatt of Cambridge and Marian Burt of Cambridge; two brothers, Jack (& Myrtle) Marlatt of Claysville and Harold (& Nancy) Marlatt of Little Rock AR; fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
