John Morris

John Morris, 81, died Tuesday (July 10, 2007) at the Country View Assisted Living Home. He was born on June 5, 1926 in Woodsfield, son of the late John Henry Morris and Lillie Gay (Smith) Morris. Mr. Morris was a retired laborer with Hunter & Wilson Stave Mill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Morris; and a sister, Genevieve Kelley. He leaves a son, Dennis Morris of Adena; two daughters, Charlene (Leonard) Wise of Woodsfield and Patricia Morris of Woodsfield; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. No visitation or services will be held at this time. A private burial will be held at a later date.
