John H. Robinson

John H. Robinson, 93, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (June 17, 2020) at his home.

He was born April 4, 1927 in Old Washington, son of the late Ross Alexander Robinson and Bertha (Day) Robinson.

Mr. Robinson retired from Bennett Real Estate, where he had been a real estate agent for many years.

He was a 1945 graduate of Old Washington High School and a member of the Old Washington Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Robinson was a 4-H advisor for several years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle Lee (Carpenter) Robinson; a son, Brian; two sisters, Grace Leamer and Marion Inskeepwood; and a great-grandchild, Lyla June Robinson.

He is survived by three sons, Jerry Robinson of Georgia, Dean (Helena) Robinson of Cambridge, and Ronny (Janice) Dennis of Cambridge; a daughter, Cindy (Mark) Wagner of Columbus; a brother, Harold M. Robinson of Quaker City; his significant other, Janet Lamson; seven grandchildren, Ronald T. Dennis, Jacqueline S. (Michael) Bowman, Jennifer R. Robinson, John A. (Deanna June) Robinson, Jason D. (Ashley) Wagner, Jonathan R. (Becca) Wagner, and Ashley N. (Chris) Turner; and his great-grandchildren, Janessa and Aleesha Dennis, Cayden, Michelle, Zachary, MacKenzie, Aubrey, Maelee, Abby, and Avery Wagner, and Wyatt Dean Robinson.

Visitation will be held Friday (June 19, 2020) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Please observe current COVID-19 guidelines in regards to social distancing. The wearing of a face covering is recommended as well.

Graveside services at burial will follow at Old Washington Cemetery on Friday at 12 p.m. with Pastor Wes Jones officiating.
