Jose Ernesto Perez

Jose Ernesto Perez passed away on January 11, 2020, the result of an automobile accident in Knox County, Ohio.

He was born on January 8th, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas to his parents Lt. Col. Adolfo and Margaret Perez. Ernest was a welder by trade, an active member of Local Union 495 and The American Welding Society as well as a teacher of welding classes at various locations. He loved to help judge the 4H welding students in conjunction with the Ohio State University and was a talented artist, having won numerous awards for his metal work. For those that knew Ernest, he was definitely one of a kind from his keen sense of humor to his willingness to teach those who wished to learn the welding trade. He is survived by his pride and joy, his son Ryan Pavlov-Perez, four siblings, numerous nieces and nephews and the mother of his son, Anna Marie Pavlov. Per his request, there are no services being held at this time. The family suggests any monetary donations go to your local 4H welding program or Mid-East Ohio welding classes, as he was an advocate for kids learning a trade.
