Joseph "Sonny" W. Royko

Joseph W. "Sonny" Royko, 67, of Cambridge, died Thursday (October 3, 2019) at his home.

He was born January 31, 1952 in Cleveland, the son of the late Joseph Bernard Royko and Jean Ann (Hannon) Royko.

Mr. Royko had worked as a factory worker for many years.

He was a loving father & grandfather, and he enjoyed making people laugh.

Mr. Royko was Greek Orthodox by faith.

He is survived by a son, Carl Royko of Cambridge; a daughter, Jessica (& David) Daniels of Cambridge; two brothers, Dave Royko of Seven Hills and Dan Royko of Cleveland; five sisters, Lynn Johnson of Cleveland, Wendy Royko of Georgia, Becky Royko of Cleveland, Eleanor Royko of Cleveland, and Marsha Royko of Illinois; two grandchildren, Ivory Daniels and Ilysa Daniels; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
