Josephine Kay Taylor, 90, of Cambridge, died Friday (April 15, 2016) at the Cardinal Place in Cambridge. She was born June 14, 1925, in Gratis, daughter of the late Kenneth Jordan and Laverne (Redick) Jordan. Ms. Taylor was an employee of the former Hills Department Store. She enjoyed participating in Bible studies, bowling and playing cards. She was a former member of the Trowel & Spade Garden Club of Lewisburg and the Grow & Show Garden Club of Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Jordan, James Jordan and William Jordan; and a sister, Vivian Hardy. She is survived by three daughters, Veda Kay (Jack) Kelley of Josephine, Ala., Kim (Marty) Wessel of Greensburg, Ind., and Jan Wilson of Cambridge; a brother, Richard Jordan of Hamilton; grandchildren, Arthur N. Collins III of Dayton, Matthew Collins (Ashley) of Columbus, Jessica (Tom) Marks of Elkhart, Ind., Olivia L. Wessel of Cincinnati, Sarah D. (Robert) Elmore of Cincinnati, April R. (Scott) McElroy of Cambridge and Rachael L. (Cecil) Peters of Cambridge; stepgrandchildren, Brian Kelley of Cortez, Colo., and Lisa (Robert) Green of San Cabo Beach, Calif.; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-granchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday (April 19, 2016) at the Northwood Mausoleum with Pastor Jim Garrett officiating. Inurnment will be in the Northwood Mausoleum.
