Joyce "Jo" J. Watson

Joyce J. "Jo" Watson, 84, of Cambridge, died Saturday (March 26, 2011) at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Caldwell. She was born July 28, 1926 in Noble County, daughter of the late Arthur Koons and Edna (Brown) Koons. Mrs. Watson retired from NCR, where she had worked in the assembly department. She attended Salt Fork Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ellis Watson; four brothers, Wayne, Kenny, Ed, and Daryl Koons; and four sisters, Theresa Doudle, Doris Morrison and two infant sisters. She is survived by a son, Kenneth E. (& Debbie) Watson of Caldwell; a daughter, Beverly A. VanDyne of Cambridge; a sister, Roberta (& Charles) Cain of Quaker City; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Wednesday (March 30, 2011) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Floyd Atkinson officiating. Burial will be at Carlisle Cemetery, Middlebourne.
