Joyce A. White

Joyce A. White, 66, of Akron, died Friday (May 29, 2020) at Southeastern Med, Cambridge.

She was born November 4, 1953 in Akron, daughter of the late Thomas Biechler and Marjorie (Stalter) Biechler.

Mrs. White retired from the Summit County Department of MRDD, where she had been a work station specialist for many years.

She was a member of the Union Missionary Baptist Church of Norton.

She enjoyed cooking and feeding people. She especially enjoyed spending time at the family's "Rocky Fork Cabin" in Kimbolton.

She is survived by her husband, Robert W. White, whom she married April 30, 1994; three sons, Christian (Joanna) Wagner of Massillon, Eric Wagner of Akron, and Mikey White (Scott) of Athens; and two grandchildren, Jasmine Yoho and Crystal Howard.

No calling hours will be observed. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to any Veterans Service Organization or other Veterans charity of the donor's choice.
