Judith Eileen Bishard

Judith Eileen (Daugherty) Bishard, 71, of Cambridge, died Sunday (March 24, 2019) at her home.

She was born June 25, 1947 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Ruth (Henderson) Daugherty and Homer Daugherty.

Mrs. Bishard had worked as an LPN at Red Carpet Nursing Home for many years. She also had been a child care provider.

She graduated from Cambridge High School and earned a nursing degree from MPCC.

Mrs. Bishard was a member of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church and had been a former Sunday school teacher.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Nancy Pearl Daugherty; and two sisters, Peggy Conner and Jean Daugherty.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Robert Bishard Sr., whom she married October 20, 1967; a son, Robert Bishard Jr. of Pennsylvania; four daughters, Denise Reed of Las Vegas NV, Heidi (& Bill) Gray of Quaker City, Heather (& Jim) Taylor of Cambridge, and Holly Wyers of Columbus; a brother, Daniel Daugherty Sr. of Cambridge; nineteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday (March 27, 2019) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Thursday (March 28, 2019) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Alice Hennessey officiating.

Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
