Judith Tedrick

Judith Tedrick, 63, of Cambridge, died Monday (November 13, 2006) at the Red Carpet Health Care Center, Cambridge. She was born March 30, 1943 in Pleasant City, daughter of the late Austin A. Tilton and Lenamae (Spurrier) Tilton. Mrs. Tedrick was a twenty-year employee of Kmart, where she was currently served as the manager of the sporting goods, hardware & auto parts departments. She was a member of the Old Washington United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary of Byesville and 1st Battalion Rainbow Auxiliary, where she served as the first treasurer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Fry and Charlotte Ann Tilton. She leaves her husband, Donald L. Tedrick of the home, whom she married on June 1, 1963; a son, Donnie (& Justina) Tedrick of Buffalo; a daughter, Carol Tedrick of Cambridge; four brothers, Larry (& Eileen) Tilton, William Tilton and Jack (& Joy) Tilton all of Cambridge, and Rick Tilton of Panama City Beach FL; five sisters, Joyce Frame of Byesville, Sandy (& Clem) Slay of Byesville, Connie (& Junior) Horn of Louisa KY, Alberta (& Tim) McCullough of Cambridge and Shirley Tilton of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Jordan, Amanda and Kaitlyn Tedrick; a sister-in-law, Grace (& Rev. Jim) McConnell of Carrollton; and several nieces, nephews & cousins. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Friday (November 17, 2006) at 1 p.m. with Rev. Beth Mansperger officiating. Burial will be at Old Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: 1) Hospice of Guernsey, Inc. or 2) Old Washington United Methodist Church.
