Judy Kay Durben, 73, of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at her home.
She was born on September 13, 1951, in Guernsey County, daughter of the late Lewis Hibbs and Ferna (Ferrell) Hibbs.
A 1969 graduate of Madison High School, Mrs. Durben was a lifelong homemaker. Judy was an avid bowler and sports fan, specifically the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and Jimmy Johnson. She enjoyed working on the farm.
She was a member of Londonderry Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Thomas and Debbie Hibbs; a brother, Lester Hibbs; a daughter, Paula; a son, Jason R. "Jay-Jay" Durben; and her father-in-law, Clifford Durben.
She is survived by her husband, Milton Lewis Durben, whom she married September 13, 1969; two sons, Micheal (Amy) Durben and Jeffrey Durben; a daughter, Melissa Johns; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Sandy Luyster; her brothers, Gary (Glenda) Hibbs, Allen Hibbs, Jeff Hibbs, and Lanny Hibbs; her friend, Louanne Pethtel; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 12PM to 2PM at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge.
