Julia M. Mechling

Julia M. Mechling, 42, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (July 13, 2016) at Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 11, 1974 in Ashland, daughter of Becky (Fulk) McMullen and the late Ricki Franklin. Ms. Mechling was a 1992 graduate of Ashland High School. She loved classic rock, all kinds of animals, and was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals. She liked to laugh and joke with everyone. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Becky and Dennis McMullen of Cumberland; three daughters, Jessica Mechling of Ashland, Marissa Clark of Caldwell, and Autumn Clark of Caldwell; two brothers, Jeff (& Kelly) Franklin of Ashland and Jonathan McMullen of Cumberland; a stepsister, Jennifer (& David) Yeater of Paden City WV; and several nieces & nephews. Memorial visitation hours will be held Monday (July 18, 2016) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to one of the following organizations: 1) Hospice of Guernsey Inc., PO Box 1165, Cambridge OH 43725; or 2) Huntington's Disease Society of America, 490 City Park Avenue, Columbus OH 43215.
