June S. Jones (Danley) Bliss

June S. (Danley) Jones Bliss, 92, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday (June 1, 2017).

She was born December 23, 1924 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Harry L. Danley and Forrest Rose (Kirkbride) Danley. June was next to oldest of eleven children.

June married Francis "Jay" Jones and they had five children, ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three infant siblings; brothers, Harry "Skeet" Danley, Russell Danley, and Ronald Danley; sisters, Mary Shaffer and Jean Albaugh; her first husband, Jay Jones; and a granddaughter, Robin Naething.

On October 16, 1998, June married George Bliss of Cambridge. June and George enjoyed eighteen wonderful years together and loved dancing, bowling, and golf.

June is survived by her husband, George Bliss; her five children, Dennis (Kathryn) Jones of Groveport, Richard Jones of Marion, Marla Vance of Marion, Brenda (James) Enterline of Marion, and Timothy (Cheryl) Jones of Cable; her ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen (Robert) McKee; a brother, John (Betty) Danley; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Olsavsky; a stepdaughter, Lana (Ralph) Watkins; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

No calling hours will be observed.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (June 3, 2017) at the Northwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, Cambridge, with Pastor Karen Rawlins officiating.
