June Eloise Long

J. Eloise Long, 83, of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Embassy of Cambridge.

She was born July 1, 1940 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Bernard I. Sarchet and Freda A. (McMullen) Sarchet.

Mrs. Long retired from HGT Insurance, where she had worked in the office.

She was a member of the Freedom Worship Chapel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, an adopted brother, a brother, and a sister.

She is survived by her son, Brad Dennis of Cambridge, and lots of nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge from 11-1 PM with the service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Northwood Cemetery following the service.
