Junior Hill

Junior Hill, 75, of Kimbolton, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at his home.

Junior was born on January 24, 1950, in Cambridge, a son to the late Norval M. and Brittie (Miller) Hill.

Junior was a 1968 graduate of Cambridge High School and later worked as a retail merchandiser. He enjoyed spending time with family, going on cruises, and playing slots. He was a member of the Salvation Army. Junior was a US Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Hill, whom he married on August 7, 1971, and passed away on January 7, 2011, his son, Richard Hill, who passed away on December 11, 2020, two brothers, Francis Hill and Terry Hill, his sister, Linda Barr, his infant brother, David Hill, and two infant grandchildren, Timothy Ollie Thompson Hill and Liam Gardner.

Junior is survived by his son, David (Melissa) Hill of Kimbolton, two daughters, Stephanie (Boone) Matthews of Kimbolton, and Marion Hill of Kimbolton, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and his daughter-in-law, Teresa Hill of Cambridge.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 11AM-1PM with the service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with Pastor Ed McMillen officiating. Burial will follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens.
