Karen Sue Hossman

Karen Sue Hossman, 69, of Quaker City, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Barnesville Hospital.

Karen was born on June 26, 1955, in Moundsville, WV, a daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth "Peggy" (Mottle) Gilbert.

Karen was a homemaker for most of her life. She loved dogs and was a member of Living Water Church in Quaker City.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hossman, and her son, Benjamin Hossman.

Karen is survived by her son, Chris Hossman of Senecaville, her sister, Estie Gilbert of Buffalo, her grandchildren, Hayley and Griffen and her step granddaughter, Alexis, two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Madison, as well as many friends and others she considered as close family.

A burial will be held at Senecaville Cemetery at a later date.
