Katherine Fadorsen

Katherine Fadorsen, 94, formerly of Cambridge, died Thursday (August 11, 2016) at the home at her daughter, Debbie Barr, in South Carolina. She was born October 3, 1921 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Jerry Pearson and Margaret (Peyton) Pearson. Mrs. Fadorsen retired from the former Cambridge State Hospital where she had been a coordinator for many years. She was a member of St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church. Some of her favorite pastimes included working puzzles, shopping, dining out, and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Fadorsen, who died in 1976; a son, John Fadorsen Jr.; three brothers; seven sisters; and two sons-in-law. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie (& Kyle) Barr of Georgetown SC, Phyllis Bichard of Georgetown SC, and Patricia Waers of Byesville; eleven grandchildren, including Khris and Leroy of Georgetown SC, whom she spent a lot of her time with; and nineteen great-grandchildren. A graveside service and burial will be held Saturday (August 20, 2016) at 10 a.m. at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Cambridge, with Father Robert Borer officiating.
