Kathryn "Kathy" Booth

Kathryn "Kathy" Booth, 67, of Kimbolton, died Tuesday (February 11, 2020) at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born June 9, 1952 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Willard Paden and Thelma (Stoneburner) Paden.

Kathy worked at the former Hall's Ice Cream, as well as the former Bell Nursing Home. She had also worked at the gift shop at Salt Fork State Park Lodge. She enjoyed babysitting for several families.

She was Christian by faith.

Kathy loved playing and coaching softball. A 1970 graduate of Madison High School, she was both a cheerleader and homecoming queen at the school. She married her high school sweetheart.

She lived and dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Willard Ronald "Ron" Paden.

She will be missed dearly by her loving husband, Jim Booth, whom she married December 5, 1970; her devoted children, Wendy (T.S.) McVicker of Kimbolton, Crissy Booth of Cambridge, Jamie (Kevin) Miller of Kimbolton, and Michael (Tiffany) Booth of Kimbolton; her siblings, Don (Diane) Paden of Old Washington, Connie (Garey) Morgan of Cambridge, and Randy Paden of Old Washington; a sister-in-law, Shirley Paden of Old Washington; several nieces & nephews; and eight grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Alexandria, Logan and Anna McVicker, Evan, Brodie, Maizie and Chase Miller, and Milo Booth

Visitation will be held Friday (February 14, 2020) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, and also on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (February 15, 2020) at 2 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge.

Burial will follow at Clearfork Cemetery.
