Kathryn L. Hickman

Kathryn L. Hickman, 73, of Cambridge, died Saturday (December 21, 2013) at her home. She was born June 19, 1940 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Raymond Blattner and Betty J. (Moffett) Blattner. Mrs. Hickman worked for several years at the former March Electric. She was also a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping and dealing at yard sales. She cherished spending time with her family. Mrs. Hickman attended Cambridge High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kitty M. Bradford; and a brother, Marty. She is survived by her husband, Roy D. Hickman, whom she married September 13, 1958; five sons, Roy D. (& Janet) Hickman Jr. of Cambridge, Kenneth L. (& Roseann) Hickman of Cambridge, Rex A. (& Karen) Hickman of Byesville, John P. (& Stephanie) Hickman of Cambridge, and Brian A. (& Courtney) Hickman of Cambridge; a daughter, Rebecca J. (& Doug) Anderson of Cambridge; two brothers, Raymond (& Marilyn) Blattner and Bill (& Moska) Blattner both of Cambridge; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Thursday (December 26, 2013) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
