Kelly Gene Sovka

Kelly Gene Sovka, 70, of Cambridge, died Sunday (November 29, 2015) at his home. He was born November 14, 1945 in Cambridge, son of the late Nick Sovka and Audrey (Stewart) Sovka. Mr. Sovka retired from Plastech and was a member of the Cambridge City Police Department. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 386 of Cambridge. Mr. Sovka was a 1963 graduate of Cambridge High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Elaine (Robertson) Sovka, who died in 2015; and a brother, Nick. He is survived by two sons, Kelly Sovka Jr. of Cambridge and Tony Sovka of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Hunter Sovka and Brandon Thompson; a niece, Holly Allen; and a nephew, Nick Sovka Jr. No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
