Kenneth J. Stillions, 68, of Lore City, died Saturday (February 28, 2009) at the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born on March 6, 1940 in Barberton, son of the late Joseph Ellsworth Stillions and Evelyn Leona (Fogle) Stillions. Mr. Stillions worked at several plastics plants, including Phillips, Arrow and LDM. He was a member of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church. Mr. Stillions was a graduate of Lore City High School. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He played several musical instruments and especially liked bluegrass music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Eugene Stillions. He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Edwards) Stillions of the home, whom he married on July 21, 1973; four children, Barbara Ann Wilsey of Uhrichsville, Lori Ann Stillions of Derwent, Kenneth Brent Stillions of Dennison and Michelle (Scott) Stillions-Hayes of Lore City; four sisters, Carol (Clarence) Schmuck of Red Lion PA, Cheryl (Brian) Grogan of Parkersburg WV, Shirley Sweeney of Cambridge and Marilyn (Rick) Burkhardt of Massillon; eight grandchildren, Jason, Crystal, Leah, Teah, Michael, Brandon, Kristina and Kaitlyn; and six great-grandchildren, Akira, Janison, Dominique, Rhianna, Amiaya and Caleb. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Wednesday (March 4, 2009) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rick Burkhardt officiating. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
