Kevin Scott Rogers

Kevin Scott Rogers, 54, of Cambridge, passed away Tuesday (October 14, 2008) at his home. He was born on June 28, 1954 in Massillon, son of the late Paul Rogers and Thelma (Weaver) Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a cook for Best Western, Pancake House and Bob Evans. He was a member the Cambridge American Legion. Mr. Rogers was a member of the Derwent Church of Christ in Christian Union. He was a U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Shelly Rogers Poland; three step-daughters, Elicia, Riyeasa and Minnecca Lawrence; and his father-in-law, Aaron Rice. He leaves his wife, Faith (Rice) Rogers of the home, whom he married on April 10, 2004; two sons, Joshua (& Sarah) Rogers of Fort Myers FL and Anthony Rogers of Forrest VA; his mother-in-law, Rev. Veronica Rice of Cambridge; three brothers, Rick (& Tina) Kilpatrick of Sarahsville, James Kilpatrick of New Lexington and Kelly (& Carol) Biggers of Utah; three sisters, Tonya (& Jr.) Hupp of Pleasant City, Paulette (& Jack) Hayes of Florida and Lindsey (& Cordell) Monson of Utah; a grandchild, Evan Rogers; and his dearest friend, Shiloh Vincent of Cambridge. Family and friend may call on Friday (October 17, 2008) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Cambridge (725 Steubenville Avenue), where services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
