Kirk F. Lusch

Kirk F. Lusch, 44, of Mooresville NC, died October 3, 2013 at CMC Pineville. He was born July 26, 1969 in Corydon IA, son of Donald Lusch and the late Vivian Lusch. Mr. Lusch was a graduate of Marshall High School of Marshall MI, and a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in accounting and a Masters in Business Administration. He was a certified public accountant and worked as a partner with the C.P.A. firm Dixon, Hughes, and Goodman. He was a dedicated and involved father with his sons and their many activities, including coaching sports teams and assisting with their Scouting activities. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Donald and Lin Lusch of Estero FL; sons, Adam, Kyle, and Brandon of Mooresville NC; a sister, Shelley (& Jim) Gabel, nephews, Jacob and Mitchell, and niece, Leigh, of New Albany OH; and his grandmother, Virginia Watson of Dover. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (October 9, 2013) at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Church, Quaker City, with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. As an expression of sympathy, memorials contributions may be made for Bladder Cancer Research to the Levine Cancer Institute, 1021 Morehead Medical Drive, Charlotte NC 28204; or to the Davidson United Methodist Church, PO Box 718, Davidson NC 28036.
