Lanny E. Moore, 71, of Cambridge, died Saturday (December 1, 2018) at his home.
He was born April 15, 1947 in Cambridge, son of the late Parmer Moore and Helen M. (Larrick).
A 1965 graduate of Cambridge High School, Mr. Moore retired from GE of New Concord, where he had worked as a materials handler for many years.
He attended the Center United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Jirles) Moore; and a daughter, Heather Moore.
He is survived by a daughter, Amie Moore of Cambridge; a sister, Janet (& Rodney) King of New Concord; two very special grandchildren that he was close to, Austin Moore and Ethan Jackson; three nephews, Travis King, Trevor King, and Tyler King; and several cousins.
No calling hours will be observed.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
