Larry Duane Antill

Larry Duane Antill, 70, of Cambridge, died Sunday (November 16, 2014) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born February 3, 1944 in Cambridge, son of the late Aubrey Antill and June (Netting) Antill. Mr. Antill had worked for NCR and Champion for many years. He enjoyed fishing and collecting old bottles. He was a 1962 graduate of Cambridge High School. Mr. Antill was a US Army veteran. He was a former member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Aubrey Dale Antill. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Wheeler) Antill, whom he married January 20, 1969; a son, Aubrey A. Antill II of Cambridge; a daughter, Jamie Antill (& Thomas Jackson) of Cambridge; a brother, Ron (& Judy) Antill of Cambridge; a sister, Connie Roe of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Alexa Marie Antill, Aubrey A. Antill III, and Braidyn Thomas Lee Jackson; and several nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday (November 20, 2014) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jay Cook officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
