Larry "Joe" Dean Stewart

Larry Dean "Joe" Stewart, 50, of Cambridge, died Sunday (February 2, 2014) at his home. He was born March 7, 1963 in Cambridge, son of the late James Stewart and Ethel (Rayner) Stewart. Mr. Stewart was a painter and had formerly worked for Bishop Painting. He was a graduate of Cambridge High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael; and a brother, Richard. He is survived by his wife, Connie (Youel) Stewart, whom he married January 22, 1983; three sons, Joseph Stewart, Steve Stewart, and Zachary Stewart all of Cambridge; five brothers, Russell (& Cathy) Stewart, Buddy (& Lisa) Stewart, Bill (& Beth) Stewart, Jake (& Sandy) Stewart, and Rex (& Sherry) Stewart all of Cambridge; three sisters, Mary Neff of Byesville, Bonnie Gordon of Cambridge, and Sandy (& Jeff) Watson of Cambridge; and a grandchild, Caitlyn Stewart. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Thursday (February 6, 2014) at 11 a.m. with Evang. Woody Biggs officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
