Larry J. McCulloch, 62, of Quaker City, passed away Wednesday (Nov. 18, 2009) at Southeastern Med. He was born June 17, 1947, in Cambridge, son of the late Robert and Lola (Harding) McCulloch. Mr. McCulloch was an employee of the Guernsey County Highway Department for 31 years, having served as a foreman. He loved farming, county fairs and watching his grandchildren show their animals. He was a 1965 graduate of Madison High School. He leaves his wife, Ireta "Fern" (Meredith) McCulloch, whom he married June 27, 1966; two sons, Jay (Stacey) McCulloch of Salesville and Travis (Jessie) McCulloch of Zanesville; a daughter, Melissa (Ed) Glasgow of Quaker City; a brother, John "Bill" (Mary Ann) McCulloch of Cambridge; a sister, Mary (Bud) Cole of Westerville; five grandchildren, Dylan, Jacob, Chelsea, Ty and Ava; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday (November 21, 2009) at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor William L. Worcester officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery.
