Laura Potts

Laura B. Potts died at the age of 95 after a short illness. She was born in Leavittsville, Ohio on November 13, 1914 to J. Alvin and Bertha Boyd of Erie, Pennsylvania. She was a resident of Cardinal House for two years. She was a homemaker and married to her husband, Jim Potts, for 72 years. He died in January 2008. She was Christian by faith and a member of the Nazarene Church. She has three children, J. Carlene Davidson of Cambridge, Ohio; David L. (Susann) Potts of Ft. Myers, Florida; and Marna L. (Richard) Zitzmann of Edmonds, Washington. She has seven grandchildren, Cynthia K. (Alan) Caldwell of Cambridge, Ohio; C. Denise (Dannie) Johnson of Cambridge, Ohio; Dave C. (Stephanie) Davidson of New Concord, Ohio; Joshua (Nadine) Potts of Springfield, Illinois; Nicholas Zitzmann of Utah; Adam Zitzmann of Bothell, Washington; and Sarah (Dan) Holland of Bothell, Washington. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Private family graveside services will be observed.
