Lawrence "Larry" Edward Nugent

Lawrence "Larry" Edward Nugent, 75, of Cambridge, passed away at Countryview Assisted Living Facility.

He was born June 27, 1949, in Cambridge, the son of the late Lawrence Paul Nugent and Christine (Hulka) Nugent.

A member of Christ Our Light Parish, he was a 1967 graduate of Guernsey Catholic Central High School. He attended Ohio University Athens, graduating in 1973. He worked for the FBI field office in Cincinnati after college, and later at NCR in Cambridge.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters, Elizabeth Jackson, Barbara Nugent, Sister Mary Ann Nugent and Margaret "Peggy" Ditto.

He is survived by five siblings: twin brother, James (& Guliz) Nugent of Georgia; brothers, Bill Nugent of Colorado, and Paul (& Deb) Nugent of Nebraska; sisters, Winnie (& Henry) Wells of Lore City, and Trish (& Jerry) Jones of Columbus; brother- in- law, Bill Ditto and special friend and companion, Flossie Daniels and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 20, 2025, from 10-11 AM at Christ Our Light Parish where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM. Father Borer will be officiating. A private burial at Mt Calvary Cemetery in Cambridge will take place at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Countryview Assisted Living Facility, 62825 County Home Rd Lore City, Ohio 43755; St Benedict School, 220 N 7th St Cambridge, Ohio 43725; or Hospice of Guernsey, P.O. Box 1165 Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
