Layton Gay Shuman
August 7, 1944 — April 23, 2021
Layton Gay Shuman, 76, of Cambridge, passed away Friday (April 23, 2021) at SEORMC.
He was born August 7, 1944 in Akron son of the late Howard and Lucille (Foraker) Shuman.
Layton retired as a mechanic. He enjoyed working on vehicles and fishing.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbie Jo Pickens, a brother Earl Shuman, and a grandson Corey Pickens.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Pickens of the home; a brother Robert (Chelsie) Shuman of Baltic; a daughter, Lorrie (Terry) Lippert; a son Wesley (Susan) Pickens; grandchildren, Dillon Lippert, Tara (Zachary Brownfield) Lippert, Brandi Pickens; great grandchildren, Tavin Pickens and Marlee Jo Brownfield.
No visitation or services will be held. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
