Leola L. "Dick" Giesey

Leola L. "Dick" Giesey, 91, of Quaker City, went to be with The Lord on July 4, 2021.

She was born March 19, 1930 in Putney Ridge, daughter of the late William B. and Sylvia (Carpenter) Leach.

"Dick" retired from the County Home after many years of service as a cook.  She was also a member of Quaker City Christian Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Dale Giesey; a special friend Robert Long; brothers, William and James Leach; twin sister Leona "Jack" Leach; daughter-in-law Ellen Giesey.

She is survived by three sons, G. Tom Giesey and John (Connie) Giesey, both of Cambridge, and Larry A. Giesey of Vienna, WV; she will be missed by her grandchildren, Brian (April) of Pleasant City, Angie and Wesley , both of Cambridge, Jason of AZ and Jared of Pleasant City; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Cheyenne, Savannah, Laramie, Liberty, Alexis, Janei, Brianna; great granddaughter Sophia; several nieces and nephews.

No visitation or services will be observed.
