Leona K. Journey

Leona K. Journey, 79, of Cambridge, died Sunday (Sept. 18, 2011) at Cambridge Health Care Center, Cambridge. She was born March 9, 1932, in Marietta, daughter of the late Doug Fulton and Ruth Mitchell. Mrs. Journey was a former employee of RCA, NCR and Westinghouse, and a life member of the VFW Post 2901 Ladies' Auxiliary. She was Protestant by faith. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. She leaves two sons, Ken (Kathy) Journey of Camrbidge and Rich Journey of Charleston, Ill.; two daughters, Pat (Randy) Hill of Lore City and Deb (Tim) Wheatley of Cambridge; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Angie, Jennie, Justin, Mike, Mark, Nikki and Jessie; two stepgrandchildren, Tim and Stacey; an 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, followed by the service at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, at a later date.
