Lethesia L. Morrison

Lethesia L. Morrison, age 63 of Cambridge, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at The James Cancer Hospital, while surrounded by her loving family. Lethesia courageously battled Esophageal Cancer for the last (5) years.

Lethesia was born January 9, 1961, in Cambridge, Ohio, to the late Charles and Stella (Norman) Newnom.

Lethesia was a lifelong resident of Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High School.

A dedicated homemaker for over 40 years, Lethesia took great pride in caring for her family and home. She enjoyed life's simple pleasures—mowing the lawn, gardening, shopping, cooking, and decorating. Some of her happiest moments were spent camping and boating at Seneca Lake, traveling, celebrating holidays, and making memories with her loved ones.

Lethesia's greatest joy was her family. She loved them fiercely, and her granddaughter, Leighonna, held a special place in her heart. Lethesia was also quite fond of her cherished fur baby, Bruno.

Lethesia's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, her unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to every occasion.

Lethesia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Stella (Norman) Newnom, and her mother- and father-in-law, Harry C. and Betty (Moore) Morrison. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Harry Lee Morrison; her daughter, Nicole (Ryan) Milligan; her son, Lance Morrison; her treasured granddaughter, Leighonna Morrison; her brother, Charles E. (Roseann) Newnom of Mesa, AZ; her sister, Jo Ann (Ronald) Mason; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Stack. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, September 27th, at Northwood Cemetery Chapel.
