Lil Emrich

Lil Emrich, 85, of the Winterset area, passed away Thursday (Aug. 14, 2014) at her home, after a long illness. She was born April 15, 1929, in Parkersburg,W.Va., daughter of the late Harvey Scott and Bessie Marie (Goudy) Terrell of the Antrim area. Mrs. Emrich enjoyed her work of 42 years as a doctors assistant in the medical field, both in Akron and Cambridge. Lil was the wife of the late, Edward Earl Emrich of Norton; and a special friend to Andrew Barabas of Wadsworth. She is survived by daughters, Karen Jean Klein and Kathy Ann Emrich, both of Lore City; a grandson, Bradley Michael Klein; great-godchildren, Ashley, Abby and Alex Kemp of Medina; a great-great-godson, Sevrin; stepdaughter and stepson, Kathy and Larry Ebbs of Myrtle Beach, S.C., stepson, Mark Scutti of Philadelphia, Pa.; a sister, Donna Roberts of Canton; sisters-in-law, Clara (Eugene) Terrell and Marlene Terrell of this area, and Janet Terrell of Akron; many friends, family and work associates. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters; and a stepdaughter, Andrea Kaye Scutti. In following with Lil's wishes, no services will be held.
