Lillian E. Hendershot

Lillian E. Hendershot, 86, of Cambridge, passed away Thursday (Nov. 22, 2012) at Southeastern Med. She was born Nov. 25, 1925, in Cambridge, daughter of the late Charles E. And Myrtle (Mercer) McManaway. Mrs. Hendershot was a homemaker, and enjoyed fishing trips to Canada and being with her grandson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Hendershot; five sisters, Emma Carolyn Sigman, Mildred Strader, Anna Schlossser, Peggy Christianson and Mary Jones; four brothers, Charles, Richard, Gerald and Paul McManaway. She leaves a daughter, Karen Sue (Bill) Huber Of Cambridge; a son, Jim (Francene) Hendershot of Cambridge; two grandsons, James(Heather) Hendershot and Tom (Melissa) Hendershot, both of Cambridge; five great-grandsons, Cory, Cody, Zach, Marcus and Carter James "C.J." In keeping with Lillian's wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. Burial will take place in Zion Cemetery, Claysville, at the convenience of the family.
