Lillie Walker

Lillie Walker, 99, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (February 24, 2016) at Countryview Assisted Living Center, Lore City. She was born August 13, 1916 in Newark, daughter of the late Delmar V. Walker and Cora (Crossen) Walker. Mrs. Walker was a homemaker. She attended the Derwent Church of Christ in Christian Union. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Perry A. Walker, who died May 3, 1991; two brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by a niece, Beverly (& Otis) Watson of Quaker City; and her church family & friends. Visitation will be held Monday (February 29, 2016) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Derwent Church of Christ in Christian Union Missionary Fund, 56975 Marietta Road, Byesville OH 43723.
