Linda Lou Barr

Linda Lou Barr, 71, formerly of Cambridge, died Thursday (January 4, 2018) at Genesis Hospital of Zanesville.

She was born February 13, 1946 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Norval Hill and Brittie (Miller) Hill.

Mrs. Barr had worked at Essex of Zanesville and at Express Packaging.

She was a lifelong member of the Stop Nine Church of Christ.

She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo, working on word finds, and going for car rides.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary.

She is survived by a son, Dustin (& Jennifer) Barr of Byesville; two daughters, Beverly Barr (& Paul Bates) of Cambridge and Heather (& Tom) Burtnett of Chandlersville; two brothers, Junior Hill of Kimbolton and Terry Hill of Cambridge; eight beloved grandchildren, Casey, Jerry, Faith, David, Gracie, Torie, Melissa, and Dakota; five great-grandchildren, Lexie, Andrew, Mel Mel, A.J., and Viviana; her special friends, Bonnie Jones, Heather Sunnafrank, and Hailee Sunnafrank; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial visitation hours will be held Saturday (January 13, 2018) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Stop Nine Church of Christ, Byesville, where a memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Evang. Mark Beros officiating.

Burial will be at Bloomfield Cemetery, at a later date.
